I’m into the novelty kind of events these days, having completed the Southend Pier Marathon twice (11 times the longest pleasure pier in the world and 3rd one year),
Shepton Mallet Prison Marathon (78 x 2 wings and an exercise yard),
Multi Storey Car Park Marathon (73 x 11 floors),
Mudcrew’s Black Rat twice (50K)
Endurancelife’s Classic Quarter twice.
White Rose Ultra 100.
I’ve run lots of other things but these are the most memorable for me.
Also most recently I became the 5th person ever to run the entire length of Chesil Beach in Dorset, setting the fastest time since the mid 1960s.
It’s an estimated 160 billion pebbles from West Bay to Portland.
I’ve been running ‘Bys Vyken Events’ for 6 years and have many races around the South West Coast Path.
