MOGGANS - OUR STORY
As outdoor enthusiasts we are passionate about creating gear you’ll love to wear! Our ethos is to design and manufacture in Scotland & Europe.
So where did the name Moggans originate from? Grandma Sue, the knitter in the family!
Fact: The term "moggans" has Scottish origins and refers to long footless stockings, worn by farmers and fishermen to protect their legs from the cold and wet conditions.
Merino wool is the core yarn to most of the products we produce, be it for running, walking, hiking, trail running, skiing, golf, tennis, cycling, MTB or in fact any environment any day!
Why Merino wool? It’s a natural product, regulates temperature, manages moisture and odours!
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Moggans, we’re not about fast fashion and lots of colours.
We strive to be eco-friendly with regards to materials, manufacturing methods and delivery packaging, all in line with our ethos.
“Moggans is on an exciting journey working with our valued customers, strategic partners and athletes to deliver the products you love”
