All-day performance meets everyday style.

From the trails to the tarmac, our Lightweight Merino Crew Socks are built for movement. Offering light cushioning, breathability, and versatility, they’re ideal for running, walking, cycling, or even dressing up.

With a taller length (4” above the ankle), they offer extra coverage without sacrificing ventilation.

Key Features:

Targeted Cushioning: Extra padding in heel and toe.

Reinforced Zones: Durable under pressure, wherever you go.

Rib Support: Midfoot compression to keep socks in place.

Ventilation Mesh: Breathable panels for airflow.

Flat Toe Seam: Eliminates rubbing.

Recycled Polyamide Structure: Supports shape retention and fit.

If you’re near the top of the size range or have wider feet, we recommend sizing up.

Designed in Scotland. Made in the EU.

Customers praised these lightweight merino crew socks as "comfy" and "well made" for running and hiking. Shoppers noted they prevent blisters, stay warm when wet, and are durable. One said they're "the best socks I have ever purchased." Minor feedback: grey color isn't sporty, heel reinforcement could be higher.

Another great pair of merino socks , very comfortable to wear . When I bought my first pair of Moggans I was very sceptical as I wear through my socks very quickly however they do last !!

Love the socks as they stay up in wellies. Could just do with the heel reinforcement being a little higher up the back.

A genuinely amazing trail running sock. By some alchemy, Moggans have managed to create a padded sock that is both warm AND cool when required, while also preventing blisters.
Oh, and they're super comfortable.
I'll be wearing mine for the 2026 UTMB Arc of Attrition....and if I can find the cash will be buying at least one more pair.
Highly recommended.

So far so good; don't notice them on my feet - which is what you want with a pair of running socks out on the trails. The lightweight has a good thickness for winter running.

Very comfortable lightweight socks. I use them for walks and motorcycling, quite warm considering the light weight.
I also have some Moggans heavyweight socks for winter use on the motorcycle but they are too thick for my walking boots which is why I bought the lighter weight socks.Prompt delivery from Moggans. Brilliant socks thank you.
