These merino hiking socks are praised for exceptional comfort and quality. Customers said they're "like my feet are being hugged" with no blisters or rubbing. They stay warm when wet and dry quickly. However, sizing inconsistency is noted - some find them too large while others report they run tight, suggesting careful size selection is needed.

Just completed the Wainwright coast to coast walking route and I was very pleased to have purchased Moggans socks, the mid weight socks were without doubt the most comfortable of all the socks I’d worn during the fortnight walking. I’d be happy to recommend them to anyone thinking of walking or trekking any distance and wanting to avoid the curse of the blister!

Treated myself to some fabulous home-grown Moggans after my husband bought some for himself. Not disappointed, comfortable and foot huggingly snug fit made for very happy feet after a track and hill hike. Like any good hiking sock, the fit like a second skin. Will be buying more.

Lovely socks but massive! Ordered 8 - 10.5 and these were much bigger than similar other brands' socks of the same size. Will need a few 'hot washes' to get them to shrink...what a shame.

I can't believe how much I love these socks!! I do struggle to find hiking socks that fit me well as I am always on the boundary of sizes. But these are fantastic!! It's like my feet are being hugged as I walk! They are comfy, supportive and stay in place. Absolutely no rubbing. And warm when wet, but also dry quickly. I will be buying more!

Overall the socks just seem too tight for me in the foot and leg. Leave deep ruts in the leg and this is me trying the XL size. Looked at a lot of reviews and I seem to be the only one that thinks so but it is what it is 🤷🏼‍♂️

The socks feel fine but I find the sizing a problem. I’m in the middle of the sizing and there is too much slack

These socks are the most comfortable walking socks I have worn. The material is soft and given how fine they are are very warm. They also wash well and hold their shape.

Perfect in every way! I bought one pair to trial for walking the WHW and am so delighted with them that I've ordered another three pairs. Great fit, soft, and no blisters or hotspots after a couple of 10 mile walks. Good fitting shoes help of course but 10/10 for the socks. I may well give another review after my 96 mile hike!

Arrived three days after ordering and certainly lived up to the ad. These socks are high quality and wash well. Stayed comfortable through a long day of dog walking. They fit beautifully, heel stays in place don’t lose their shape at all. I’ll be buying more in different weights now. Highly recommended.
