Fantastic socks, we have just completed the Rob Roy Way and had worn our Morgan’s socks on 4 of the days including a 35 km day. Dry, happy feet.

Very happy with the socks from Moggans. I definitely wanted socks with a merino wool mix. I've used several pairs from Moggans mostly for running, cycling and gym work and all have been great - very comfy, cool and no slip. They have worked equallly well at Parkrun Canada in -10°c and run sessions in Girona at 35°c.

So far they seem great quality. Bought these as they are built to last so hoping that’s the case. If so will be buying more!

Great socks! Bought one pair. They’re so good, I ordered another two. Excellent quality. Compression and thickness in the right places. Limited colour choice, but can overlook that in favour of excellent fit and comfort. Wash well. No shrinkage. Would recommend!

Completed my first half marathon in the ankle socks yesterday. They were so comfortable. I can honestly say I wasn't bothered by any rubbing at all for the whole run, and they coped well with the unusual heat on the day! Customer service is top notch too. Highly recommend.

Really well fitting socks. The elasticity is absolutely spot on, they don't move around the foot even when wet. They are extremely comfortable and the additional cushioning is in just the right place.

Decided to give these a try to replace my Innov 8 merino socks which were no longer available.. Very comfortable socks that do not move and I wear them for everyday use with running shoes, walking boots and casual shoes . Would definitely recommend . Excellent company to deal with

I wore a couple of pairs of the merino ankle socks whilst doing the Cape Wrath Trail earlier this year. The CWT is notoriously wet and I decided to embrace the 'wet' with a combination of Moggan's sock and Altra Lone Peak trail shoes. The socks were really comfortable and kept their shape when wet, and remained warm when both wet and dry. They rinsed through easily and dried quickly. The socks have since seen more action on other long distance walks including the Pennine Way. I've ordered more...enough said.

During an activity so full of variables including often having to deal with excessively high temperature, undulations and multiple terrains the one constant that I would never hike a Camino without again is my Ultralight Moggan socks.
Having recently hiked over 700k (20-30k) per day with 2 pairs of ultralights wearing and washing on alternate days my feet remained cool, dry and most critically blister free leaving me free to concentrate on the task in hand. The same 2 pair of Moggan's remain completely serviceable today and will shortly be heading out to Portugal with me for another 300k.

My Moggan's have become the only item of clothing that are ever present and I trust their performance 100%.

I wholeheartedly encourage any pilgrim walking Caminos to give these socks a try as they offer incredible comfort, performance and value for money.

These are the only merino socks that I have purchased that seem to fit me better over time. Look forward to testing in some long ultra races!

I wore these socks on the recent Lakeland 100. They were comfortable throughout though I did change to a second pair at Dalmain checkpoint (60 miles in) as there had been some wet sections.
I'm a UK 8, although my trainers (I wore Xodus Ultra) are 8.5. I contacted Moggans to ask as I'm almost between sizes. They confirmed my thoughts that I'd be better with medium (5 to 7.5) than with large (8 to 10.5). It was the right choice. I don't like loose socks. They stretch and fit snugly which for me is ideal. They seem to be wearing very well despite the abuse socks get on a long trail ultra

I wore these socks for the Race Across Scotland 215 miler.

Amazing comfort and fit.
The socks really dry out quickly when wet which helps combat against Trench foot.

They are really comfy and let your feet breathe.

Alistair was amazingly helpful when discussing the best socks to fit my requirements and needs.

Definitely my go to socks for Ultra's now.

Highly recommended!!

I recently purchased two pairs of the above socks from Moggans having experienced the quality and comfort of their Stravieger hiking socks.
I wore the ankle socks for a 10 k all terrain training run at my local club meet in hot weather, I have to say that they were really comfortable with no chafing or rubbing, they also absorbed sweat and no odours after the run.
When washing them take care not to add any type of conditioner to the wash (30.c) as this will severely downgrade the quality of the merino wool component.
I would highly recommend Moggans products to anyone enjoying the great outdoors in whatever sport or leisure activity they choose to indulge or take part in.
