Completed my first half marathon in the ankle socks yesterday. They were so comfortable. I can honestly say I wasn't bothered by any rubbing at all for the whole run, and they coped well with the unusual heat on the day! Customer service is top notch too. Highly recommend.
My first purchase from Moggans and definitely not the last! These socks are exceptionally comfortable. I got the white ones which bring a casual style which matches perfectly with trainers (sneakers), but has all the fabulous qualities of merino wool. Highly recommended.
Really well fitting socks. The elasticity is absolutely spot on, they don't move around the foot even when wet. They are extremely comfortable and the additional cushioning is in just the right place.
This is my second order. I use them for cycle touring and they are thin enough to fit under my waterproof socks if needed, but are also great on their own. Really lovely comfortable socks.
Just a heads-up on the sizing though: I am a size 6 shoe so I chose the size M 5-7.5 for my first order of a pair each of the no show socks and the ankle socks. The no show socks fitted me perfectly but the ankle socks were too big. Luckily they fitted my husband who is a size 8.5 so I've just bought myself another pair of the ankle socks in the size S 2-4.5 and they fit my shoe size 6 perfectly!
i have a couple different pairs...i have used MANY different merino socks over the years and the only ones that have retained their close-fitting shape years later are WigWams from the states.
time will tell if moggans will match them, but i love mine so far.
only gripe: i'd ditch any branding above the ankle. but that is relatively minor. great job, moggans!

Unlike the heavyweight socks, that needed a wash before fitting me, these midweights were great from the start. I'd say these are the better choice for most of the sub 5 to 6 mile walks I do. Anything longer I'd probably go for the extra cushion of the heavyweight. I can happily recommend these great quality socks.
Initially I thought these full cushion socks were a bit loose on the foot, especially as I am a size 10/11. However all it took was a single wash and now there's no slipping and the socks are a great fit and very comfortable indeed. I can happily recommend these now.
Long time merino (usually Smart Wool) sock wearer here seeking a better quality and very comfortable brand of merino socks. This is my second purchase of the midweight merino crew sock from Moggans. Super comfortable in boots and trainers, well cushioned, very warm, great for all day wear and long walks, and no nagging rubbing seams. So far so good!
I'm new to Moggan's socks and tried a couple of pairs of white one for summer use with white Merrill's. Being extremely pleased I tried a pair of Stravaigers as my usual socks are a bit short when wearing my higher legged Meindle winter boots. Total result, problem solved! That extra few inches stops all the rubbing above my ankles. I'll definitely be ordering more.

Decided to give these a try to replace my Innov 8 merino socks which were no longer available.. Very comfortable socks that do not move and I wear them for everyday use with running shoes, walking boots and casual shoes . Would definitely recommend . Excellent company to deal with

These are my go to socks for most activities. I wear them with boots for walking, on the mountain bike and just with jeans down town. They are comfortable, warm, quick drying and appear to be tough wearing. I have already ordered more.
